THL Gourmet Foods Inc. is one of the leading importer and distributor of food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently looking for a team-player to support daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate would have some exposure to a warehouse environment although we are willing to train someone with the right fit and attitude.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Dry Assembler to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, assembling, and preparing dry goods for outbound delivery, while also supporting warehouse operations such as material handling and equipment operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a physically active, hands-on environment. Candidates with previous warehouse experience are preferred, but we welcome individuals with a strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented mindset—we’re happy to provide training.

Working Hours:

  • Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
  • Availability for occasional Saturday shifts required

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick and pack orders according to packing slips and internal procedures
  • Receive and verify incoming stock; ensure items are properly sorted and stored
  • Support shipping, freight handling, returns processing, and customer pickup areas as needed
  • Replenish inventory in picking locations and assist in unloading trailers and trucks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies

Requirements/ Must-Haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team

Assets/ Nice-to-Haves:

  • Forklift or reach truck certification (or prior experience operating warehouse equipment)
  • Multilingual abilities (such as Cantonese or Mandarin) are considered an asset to support effective team communication in our diverse workplace; however, they are not required and will not impact hiring decisions.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time, onsite role based in a warehouse environment.
  • The position requires regular physical activity, including prolonged standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and repetitive movements.
  • Manual handling of materials is a key component of daily responsibilities.
