THL Gourmet Foods Inc. is one of the leading importer and distributor of food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently looking for a team-player to support daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate would have some exposure to a warehouse environment although we are willing to train someone with the right fit and attitude.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Warehouse Dry Assembler to join our team! This role involves picking and assembling dry orders for delivery, handling materials, and operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

The ideal candidate enjoys working hands-on in a warehouse environment, is comfortable with repetitive movements and lifting up to 50 lbs, and has strong attention to detail. While experience in a warehouse setting is an asset, we are willing to train individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Working Hours:

  • Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
  • Availability for occasional Saturday shifts as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately based on packing slips.
  • Receive, verify, and organize incoming stock promptly.
  • Assist in shipping, freight, returns, and customer pick-up areas as needed.
  • Replenish picking locations and unload trailers and trucks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Requirements/ Must-Haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements.

Assets/ Nice-to-Haves:

  • Forklift or reach truck operation experience (certification is a plus).
  • Ability to communicate in additional languages (e.g., Cantonese or Mandarin) is an asset to support team collaboration and customer interactions, but is not required.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical demands include walking, standing, lifting, and repetitive movements.
  • Onsite, warehouse-based role requiring manual handling of materials.
